Haywood Spay/Neuter envisions a future where proper health care is available to every pet in Haywood County, regardless of owner income status. Spay and Neuter services are essential to the health of each dog or cat and greatly diminish the cycle of homeless and unwanted animals. Our wellness programs provide education, referral resources, and essential services to empower pet owners to give their companions the healthy, happy lives they deserve.
TRANSPORT UPDATE: Asheville's ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance is temporarily closed. We cannot post our November dates until they are again up and running. Our office is open sporadically due to limited staffing and accepting only cash for flea and tick medications. Please be patient during these trying times.

For those with October dates, we will be reaching out with updates early next week.

HAYWOOD SPAY/NEUTER at a glance

Our goal is to assure that everyone who has a cat or dog can afford to spay or neuter their pet(s). The shelter is overpopulated with unwanted animals euthanized each year. Spaying and neutering your animals is the only proven way to reduce pet overpopulation and to prevent unwanted litters. Help us spread the word!
