Haywood Spay/Neuter envisions a future where proper health care is available to every pet in Haywood County, regardless of owner income status. Spay and Neuter services are essential to the health of each dog or cat and greatly diminish the cycle of homeless and unwanted animals. Our wellness programs provide education, referral resources, and essential services to empower pet owners to give their companions the healthy, happy lives they deserve.

TRANSPORT UPDATE: We are booked through October. We will release our November dates as soon as we receive them. Due to staff shortages, the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance reduced the number of surgeries they can perform so we book up quickly, especially for female dogs.

8/2/2023 - Our 3rd Annual Mah Jongg Fund Raising Tournament was held at Bosu's Wine Shop. Participants enjoyed a delicious lunch prior to the tournament. Thanks to all for supporting our cause!
8/26/2022 - WOOFSTOCK fund raiser a BIG success! We held a Woodstock inspired Karaoke party at Boojum Brewing on 50 N. Main Street, Waynesville to raise funds for our operation. Boojum served delicious hors devours to go with drinks purchased at the bar. Many dressed up in era appropriate tie dyed outfits, wigs, leather, and fringe as they mingled with old friends and made new ones. It was like going back (way back) in time. A lot of brave souls took part belting out their favorite tunes on the Karaoke stage. The night ended with scrumptious desserts. We thank Boojum for hosting the event and thank all who came out to support "the cause". See pictures here.
